August 16 - 27 Initial Attack Support, Boise BLM
Bill was asked to perform Engine Operator duties for the Boise District BLM, Boise Yard. While working with both Unit A and Unit B crews he responded to the Mile Marker 67 HWY 55 Fire in Horseshoe Bend, the Dry Creek Fire at Bogus Basin, and the Mile Marker 11 HWY 16 Fire in Emmett,ID.

After spending 28 days assigned to the Honey Prairie Fire in Fargo, GA, Bill Arsenault, Line Paramedic has returned home for a couple days of R/R before another assignment.

Bill Arsenault, Paramedic, selected to speak at EMS Conference
Bill Arsenault, Federal Line Paramedic, has been requested to speak at the Southern Idaho EMS Conference on October 7-8, 2011 in Twin Falls, ID.
This request is for information on Wildland Fire EMS situations and the use of EMS professionals on wildfires.
It also includes PTSD for emergency responders involving their own as well the influx of military.

Bill Arsenault, Paramedic, was selected by Ryan Murray from the Masimo Company to demo the Masimo Rad 57 hand-held CO monitor for the care of wildland firefighters.
He will be using it as an assessment tool for those firefighters who meet certain medical criteria based on signs and symptoms.
